Wherever he makes wine, Bob Oatley’s underlying philosophy is to find the right vineyard with the right soil and match it to the right variety. From humble beginnings in the Hunter Valley, the family went on to develop and own vineyards in many of Australia’s leading regions including Orange, Mudgee, Heathcote, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra.

Today, drawing on substantial grape sources in Pemberton, Frankland River and Margaret River (Western Australia), along with the family’s own extensive local Mudgee vineyards, all Robert Oatley Vineyards wines are crafted and bottled at the family estate in Mudgee.
